Throughout Jacob's life, he’s faced incredible adversity including bullying due to his disability, medical setbacks, intense surgeries leaving him immobile, abuse, and depression. Despite these challenges, Jacob thrives and even founded Prone To Ride, an apparel company and content platform with the mission of empowering you to discover your best. On the Prone to Ride platform, Jacob shares his empowering message of personal growth, the importance of community and the reality that each of us can achieve greatness

As a model and professional surfer, Jacob works with major brands such as Zappos, UGG, Nike, and Tommy Hilfiger, Liv3mind, Bomber Eyewear, Adidas and more. As a speaker, Jacob has presented in many countries to various audiences and this includes his recent TedX appearance. As an entrepreneur, Jacob focuses on brand development and utilizes his highly engaged platforms to build success.

While reaching for his goal of earning his Master’s in Kinesiology from California State University, Long Beach, Jacob worked as a clinic coach with the LA Galaxy. He’s also supported notable organizations such as Adaptive Freedom Foundation, Waves for All Foundation, Angel City Sports, the Disability Resources Center (Long Beach), the California Department of Rehabilitation, and more. Jacob thrives on volunteering his time and energy into organizations that are bettering the lives of many.
